Best of the Best

A very small sample of my exhibited, and award winning, photography.

Adam's Falls

There is something about water carving through rock that makes you humble. I love this little waterfall, though in spring it can be quite impressive this is it's normal flow level. When you can be still in a place like this without distractions it makes you realize how fragile it all is, and how important.

DIGA 2011 3 honorable mention awards and 1 medal of excellence.
This is my most awarded photo ever, so far. I love this. I have it in my own home. It was in a museum as well. If you want a simple, lovely, and timeless piece of fine art then this is it. There is a lot of detail in this image. It is highly textural.

Snow on Red Leaves
Credits: 2011 Trierenberg , DIGA 2010, GASO 2012.
I took this image shortly after moving into my new home. I've been here now for over 10 years. I have yet to have this happen again. An early snow combined with the fire red of the changing leaves. I love this image. I still do. I think it's beautiful and bright and captures all that is amazing about the change in seasons. I always joke that I'm going to move south to escape our cold northeastern winters but I think I would miss things like this.

I have a rock wall with all sort of interesting plants growing out of it. These tiny little succulents grow in early spring and the green is natural and unmodified. I love these little plants that make me realize spring is here.

Leaves in the Forest

This was taken on a hike early in the spring. It had been raining. It was still cloudy and the forest was fairly dark. I forced my flash to fire creating this lovely effect.

Only a personal favorite of mine until this recent success. I love this image, love this place. For me it's a place of peace and a place to feel God's presence. If you love nature, forests, trees, or a good walk in the woods then this print is for you.
